The Best Piece of Free Software I've Ever Used.
I don't write about software very often, I tend to leave that to people who do that sort of thing for a living.
Once in a while though, you come across a piece of software that makes your workday so much easier that you practically want to scream the name of the software from the rooftops.
You know how it is, you get this piece of software and soon, everyone in the office that you manage to chit-chat with is suddenly hearing the ravings of a software lunatic who is spelling out the merits of just how great the new software is. The captive listener gets the full speech whether they want to hear it or not.
Well, for me, the software that made me jump up and down with joy and annoy all those around me was a program called SpinnerChief.
Now I know most of you reading this have no idea what SpinnerChief is a small program into which you enter text that you are writing for a report or a sales letter or whatever your job requires then you highlight the words in the text that the software has synonyms for and as you highlight each word a list of substitute words appears in another window for you to add. Now the software is not replacing any of your text PER SE but what it is going to do is give you multiple versions of your article so you can pick the one that looks the best to you.
The one thing to remember is that the more words you highlight and find synonyms for the more versions of your letter or text the program will be able to make. If you really go through the text and "code" a large percentage of words there would be no reason why SpinnerChief couldn't give you even 2000 (that's right I said TWO THOUSAND) different versions of the same letter and no two copies will be alike.
Oh sure, they will portray the same message but each copy will be unique from all the other copies.
Not only that but SpinnerChief lets you save the "coded text" so that you can use it later for other things. For example, lets say that you've built up a small library of these coded text's. Well there is absolutely no reason why you can copy and past and mix and match paragraphs from several of your texts to come up with an entirely new piece of text that you can then run through SpinnerChief and get anywhere from 10 to 10,000 versions of your compilation with each copy being completely unique from every other copy.

Well, it's important to note that those negative posts are being made by employees of that other software maker as that company is feeling very threatened by the little program that could and that didn't cost $80 per month.
